Summary

Lena Zavaroni, a ten‑year‑old singer who became widely known through her appearances on Opportunity Knocks, turns out to be far more down‑to‑earth than her polished stage presence suggests. Instead of the confident, adult‑like personality some expected, she comes across as an ordinary child, writing to her parents in Rothesay and amusing herself with bubble gum. Since then she has taken part in school events and eventually moved into national TV work. She enjoys meeting new people and exploring London, though she still helps with family responsibilities when she is back home.
