Lena Zavaroni turned 18 this month. The occasion was marked by the first annual luncheon of the Lena Zavaroni Appreciation Society at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool, attended by more than 60 fans. Her next engagement is Babes in the Wood with Paul Squires at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, opening on 23 December for at least 96 performances.
