ACTRESS Bonnie Langford has revealed she was asked for her autograph at the funeral of her showbiz friend Lena Zavaroni.
Greenock-born Lena, who was raised on Bute, found fame on Opportunity Knocks in 1974. She died, aged 35, in 1999 after a long struggle with anorexia.
Her funeral took place in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, where she moved to be nearer her dad.
Former child star Bonnie, 58, had been a London stage school friend of Lena's and they starred in their own ITV special, Lena and Bonnie, in 1978.
She told the White Wine Question Time podcast: "They're doing communion and someone comes up and says, 'Ooh, would you sign this for me?'
"I went 'No, no I won't. This is somebody's funeral. This is my friend."
